[OEM Partnership Case] Mercedes-Benz Ultra-Fast Charging Station

Today (January 9), the Mercedes-Benz Ultra-Fast Charging Station in Changzhou, jointly built by StarCharge and Mercedes-Benz, officially went live and opened to vehicles of all new energy brands. It is also the first Mercedes-Benz-brand ultra-fast charging station in Changzhou!

The station is located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Changwu South Road and Haihu West Road in Wujin District, Changzhou (next to the Wanbang Mercedes-Benz 4S dealership in Wujin District). The station is equipped with a total of 6 480kW DC charging terminals, achieving full liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging coverage. Power is intelligently allocated among the charging piles according to each vehicle's charging needs, greatly improving the station's charging efficiency and truly making charging as fast as refueling.

Notably, the station uses high-power liquid-cooled charging cables with a 29mm cable diameter. The newly upgraded cable design not only effectively increases charging speed but also gives charging users a softer, lighter charging experience. The station is also fitted with photovoltaic canopies and lighting equipment, along with extra-large 3-meter-wide parking spaces finished with floor coatings, exuding premium luxury and green low-carbon style. In addition, Mercedes-Benz owners can use functions such as QR-code scanning to lower the parking lock, charging reservations, and plug-and-charge to effectively solve problems such as ICE vehicles occupying charging spaces and cumbersome charging procedures.

Moreover, the newly launched Mercedes-Benz ultra-fast charging station is adjacent to the Wanbang Mercedes-Benz 4S dealership in Wujin District, which houses a spacious and comfortable lounge area, providing charging users with a cozy environment to rest in while charging.

Beyond Changzhou, Mercedes-Benz ultra-fast charging stations built by StarCharge in Foshan, Suzhou, and other cities have also been completed and put into service.
