The 2.38 million kW new energy project supporting the Lugu DC line in Tongliao is located in Horqin District, Tongliao, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It comprises the planned 1.38 million kW ecological restoration wind power base project in Horqin District, Tongliao, and the 1 million kW desertification-control wind power project for high-quality zero-carbon clean energy equipment across Horqin Left Wing Rear Banner, Tongliao. As wind power base projects supporting the Lugu DC line, the electricity generated by these two new energy projects will be delivered through the Zhalute converter station to the Shandong grid for consumption. StarCharge, as the provider of the energy storage equipment, configured the project's southern zone with 55 units of 3.44MW/3.44MWh and 4 units of 2.75MW/2.75MWh energy storage equipment — a total 200MW/200MWh energy storage system — and the northern zone with 78 units of 3.44MW/3.44MWh and 3 units of 2.75MW/2.75MWh energy storage equipment, totaling 276MW/276MWh. The overall DC battery-side energy storage system capacity reaches 476MW/476MWh, along with 140 PCS step-up integrated cabins, making it the largest 1P electrochemical energy storage project in China. Through the energy storage systems provided by StarCharge, the winds of the northeastern plains will become more reliable and stable green electricity, lighting up the entire land of Qilu!
