[Public Operator Case] StarCharge Taihua Charging Station

On the morning of June 1, 2022,the StarCharge Taihua Charging Stations(the Taihua Fertilizer Station and the Taihua Chemical Station) were officially put into service, with a combined total of 110 charging terminals put into use — also the largest single-site charging station among StarCharge's currentjointly-operated stationsin Shanxi Province.

The newly opened stations are located on the southwest side of Jinyang Lake in Taiyuan, the largest man-made lake in North China. The Fertilizer Station covers approximately 8,000 square meters, fitted with 40 units of 120kW DC fast-charging piles and a total of 80 charging spaces, simultaneously meeting the daily charging needs of private, commercial, logistics, and other vehicle types. The Chemical Station covers approximately 1,300 square meters, fitted with 15 units of 120kW DC fast-charging piles and a total of 30 charging spaces. Once both stations are in operation, each is planned to reach a daily charging volume of 25,000 kWh, providing rapid recharging services for 1,000 new energy vehicle visits per day.

In terms of supporting facilities, both stations feature dedicated lounges, restrooms, and 24-hour water dispensers, along with car wash and dining services, meeting owners' diverse service needs.

From construction to completion and commissioning, the stations took only 3 months in total. Throughout the process, as a leading charging station operator, StarCharge provided not only mature station-building guidance but also extensive station operations guidance covering finance, systems, O&M, on-site management, marketing strategy, and other modules, empowering the stations across their full lifecycle in every respect.

Moreover, under StarCharge's highly collaborative 'cloud-pipe-terminal' (i.e., software + services + hardware) operating model, StarCharge will provide comprehensive overall solutions for the stations' later O&M once they are in operation. StarCharge's O&M coverage now spans the entire country, enabling it to provide stations with 7×24-hour responsive O&M services and fully safeguard their daily operations.

Furthermore, leveraging StarCharge's independently developed power pool technology and smooth upgrade capabilities, the Taihua Charging Stations can dynamically allocate charging power according to the upgrading and adjustment of their own charging business, while also preparing for conversion into integrated PV-storage-charging-discharging charging stations and for laying out charging and battery-swapping services for special vehicles such as heavy-duty trucks, raising charging station operating efficiency in real time.

Notably, Shanxi, a key province in StarCharge's strategic layout, has seen continuously rising market share, with charging volume firmly among the top. According to StarCharge platform data, more than 1,300 stations in Shanxi are now connected to the StarCharge platform, with more than 15,000 terminals.

In the future, StarCharge will continue to leverage its collaborative 'cloud-pipe-terminal' model, using advanced equipment, mature station construction and O&M capabilities, and functions such as big data and smart cloud platforms to join outstanding enterprises across regions in building more and better charging stations with superior service experiences, leading the 'dual carbon' pioneer road, practicing China's '30·60' strategy, and accelerating the realization of the 'dual carbon' goals.
