[Special-Purpose Case] Shandong Rizhao Lanqiao Port Special-Purpose Charging Station

The Shandong Rizhao Lanqiao Port Special-Purpose Charging Station is dedicated to the fast-charging needs of freight vehicles operating inside Lanqiao Port.

As a relatively enclosed transport port handling complex cargoes including coal, Lanqiao Port has a relatively harsh site environment; add its coastal location — high humidity and heavy salt fog — and the demands on equipment become correspondingly higher.

Based on the site environment, charging requirements, and construction costs, StarCharge equipped the port with a total of 10 units of its 240kW dual-gun all-in-one charging equipment dedicated to special-purpose scenarios.

Potting and isolation processes give the equipment higher reliability, enabling durable operation even in high-temperature, high-humidity, high-salt-fog environments. Support for simultaneous dual-gun charging not only meets vehicles' need for quick daytime top-ups, but also allows all vehicles to charge simultaneously at night.

Overall station planning, project construction, and equipment O&M were also carried out by StarCharge. StarCharge fully considered the vehicle transport and charging circulation flows at the station, planning rationally to use the site efficiently while maximally guaranteeing vehicle entry and exit, and also reserving space in preparation for adding charging and battery-swapping facilities later.
