'Fully Recharged' in 5 Minutes: StarCharge's Galaxy Battery-Swapping Station Lands in Hainan, Accelerating Heavy-Duty Truck Electrification!

On July 2, Hainan's first integrated heavy-duty truck charging and battery-swapping station, jointly created by StarCharge and Ningpu Times, was completed, and an unveiling ceremony was held at Hainan Huasen Building Materials Sales Co., Ltd. The project will serve 50 new energy mixer trucks of Hainan Baosen Logistics Co., Ltd.; a single battery swap takes only 5 minutes, and the station can meet more than 160 swap visits per day, further advancing the electrification of heavy-duty trucks in Hainan and supporting the province's green, high-quality development.

The project adopts StarCharge's self-developed Galaxy series heavy-duty truck battery-swapping solution, consisting of a charging system, a swapping system, a fire-protection system, a monitoring system, and more. Using a skid-mounted configuration with 7 battery packs and 1 transfer position, it not only effectively improves space utilization, but its high-speed heavy-load swapping robots also effectively boost swapping efficiency — on average, just 5 minutes leaves a new energy heavy-duty truck 'fully recharged', and a single station can meet the daily operating needs of more than 50 new energy mixer trucks.

Notably, based on StarCharge's strong digital capabilities, the project is also equipped with a battery-swapping cloud platform that can access all data from the swapping station — including vehicles, batteries, and charging piles — and perform intelligent monitoring, analysis, management, and dispatching, empowering from the cloud to ensure the safe operation of the swapping station and greatly improve operational and O&M efficiency.

The successful implementation of this project is both a vivid practice of StarCharge's Galaxy heavy-duty truck swapping station in the green transformation of Hainan's concrete industry, and a powerful boost for promoting heavy-duty truck battery swapping and advancing the low-carbon development of the construction machinery industry across the province and the nation.
