[Operator PV-Storage-Charging Case] Xiamen Shengde Park PV-Storage-Charging-Testing Integrated Demonstration Station

On the afternoon of November 9, 2022, the launch ceremony for the Shengde PV-Storage-Charging-Testing Integrated Demonstration Station, jointly created by StarCharge and Shengde Dongnan, was held at Shengde Park. Integrating 'PV and energy storage', 'EV charging', and 'battery testing' in one, the demonstration station combines professional charging technology from StarCharge — an industry-leading company focused on the R&D and manufacturing of new energy vehicle charging equipment — with professional battery testing technology from Shengde Dongnan, a pioneer in power battery testing, creating Xiamen's first low-carbon PV-storage-charging-testing demonstration station.

The Shengde PV-Storage-Charging-Testing Integrated Demonstration Station is located in Shengde Park at No. 2213 Heshan Road, Huli District, Xiamen. Featuring 'all-electric energy' supply, the park has built a 600kWp distributed PV power generation system, a 500kW·h energy storage station, an EV charging station (configured with 17 units of 180kW DC super-fast chargers + 8 units of Crescent 7kW AC slow chargers + 2 units of 6.6kW V2G bidirectional chargers), NIO's latest Gen 2 battery swap station (13 batteries), power battery testing equipment, a CSCS energy management system, and carbon emission and smart energy management systems, implementing decarbonization pathways and smart park energy management.

Meanwhile, beyond building a new energy vehicle ecosystem integrating R&D of power battery technology for park EVs, a power battery big data center, power battery testing, and after-sales service for new energy vehicles, the park has also established an 'EV Power Battery Safety Testing Center', a 'Three-Electric Systems Service Center', a 'Power Battery Big Data Center', a 'national-level YQSPACE New Energy Collaborative Innovation Platform', an 'NEV Display and Delivery Center', and an 'NEV Owner Life Hall', dedicated to becoming a pure-electric, low-carbon demonstration park for new energy.

At the launch ceremony, Wu Hongzhou, General Manager of StarCharge's Fujian Provincial Company, introduced StarCharge's business and dream to the guests. StarCharge focuses on the R&D and manufacturing of new energy vehicle charging equipment; its platform is compatible with all Chinese national standard vehicle models, and it commands core R&D capabilities in intelligent control, the Internet of Things, and high-power customization. The Shengde PV-Storage-Charging-Testing Integrated Demonstration Station built in cooperation with Shengde Dongnan vividly reflects StarCharge's exploration and practice on the path of clean energy and digital energy, laying a solid foundation for realizing its long-term dream of 'driving the electrification of transportation and leading the digitalization of global energy'.

As a clean energy demonstration station, all of its canopies use solar PV power generation, providing clean energy through green PV rooftops. With spacious grounds and advanced, complete facilities and equipment, it has 42 charging terminals that can simultaneously meet the charging needs of multiple vehicle types, making it one of the few excellent places in Xiamen for coach charging.
