(hereinafter 'Guangzhou Bus New Energy'), signed a new energy business joint venture cooperation agreement. As good things come in pairs, on the same day, Guangzhou Bus New Energy also entered a joint venture with ComfortDelGro (China) Pte. Ltd. (hereinafter 'ComfortDelGro').

Attendees witnessing the signing included Hu Liyan, Director of the China Office of Enterprise Singapore; Li Yilin, Deputy Director of the South China Region of the China Office of Enterprise Singapore; Li Xiaojun, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman, and General Manager of Guangzhou Bus Group; Lin Diansheng, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Guangzhou Bus Group; Chung Sik Kian, President and Managing Director of ComfortDelGro Enterprise Pte. Ltd. It is reported that Guangzhou Bus Group and Singapore's ComfortDelGro Group had previously signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement at the 13th Guangdong-Singapore Cooperation Council meeting, establishing a strategic partnership to jointly develop and promote transportation-related new energy businesses. The joining of Wanbang Digital Energy is both a continuation of that earlier good cooperation and the starting point of deeper and broader collaboration. In the future, Guangjiao Wanbang New Energy (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. will focus on the layout and construction of products and overall solutions including 'PV-storage-charging-discharging' integration, while Guangzhou ComfortDelGro Guangjiao New Energy Co., Ltd. will focus mainly on charging and battery-swapping station investment and operation, PV and new energy vehicle procurement, and the overseas promotion of new energy equipment.
At the meeting, Li Xiaojun, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman, and General Manager of Guangzhou Bus Group, introduced the group's recent development in the new energy transportation industry and its various business segments, and expressed his expectations for deeper cooperation with ComfortDelGro Group and Wanbang Digital Energy, hoping to build a mutually beneficial industrial and supply chain cooperation system and jointly activate new momentum for new energy development.

Chung Sik Kian, President and Managing Director of ComfortDelGro Enterprise Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), introduced ComfortDelGro Group's development plans for new energy vehicle renewal, operations, and energy replenishment, and expressed his confidence and hopes for future Sino-foreign joint ventures and cooperation in the green, low-carbon field.
Li Tao, Vice President of Wanbang Digital Energy, gave a detailed introduction to the company's work in product R&D, domestic and overseas market expansion, brand promotion, and corporate management, as well as its future development goals, and shared his promising outlook for the future business of the joint ventures.
According to reports, Guangzhou Public Transport Group is the largest public road transport enterprise in South China, with abundant vehicle, vessel, and station resources, and is currently developing five major business segments: urban public transport, taxi and passenger transport, modern logistics, smart transportation, and new energy transportation. As its wholly-owned subsidiary, Guangzhou Public Transport New Energy coordinates the charging business of nearly 12000 pure electric buses and more than 10000 new energy taxis. Its independently developed 'Ruyue Charging' platform now covers more than 210 charging stations and nearly 6300 charging piles across the Greater Bay Area, with a total power of 850,000 kWh and annual electricity consumption of 600 million kWh. Currently, the company is focusing on building a new energy service ecosystem of 'one circle (charging circle) and one chain (multi-level industrial collaboration chain),' and has created the Yanling integrated PV-storage-charging-swapping-testing new energy industrial park, successfully implementing a series of low-carbon demonstration projects, including an 'ultra-fast charging street,' echelon energy storage systems using retired bus batteries, rooftop distributed PV power stations, and a comprehensive smart energy management platform.

Singapore's ComfortDelGro Group is one of the world's largest land transport companies, with approximately 34000 buses, taxis, and rental vehicles, and operations spanning 7 countries: Singapore, Australia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, China, Ireland, and Malaysia. ComfortDelGro China, its wholly-owned subsidiary registered in Singapore, professionally operates taxi and other businesses through domestic wholly-owned or controlled subsidiaries established in cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang, Nanjing, Chengdu, and Nanning, with a fleet of more than 9000 operating vehicles.
Wanbang Digital Energy, an 'Asian digital energy unicorn' and one of China's three major charging operators, possesses complete and mature integrated PV-storage-charging investment and operation capabilities, with all of its core software and hardware equipment independently developed, secure, and controllable. Its charging platform now covers more than 300 cities and regions across China, with over 10 million registered users. While consolidating the domestic market, Wanbang Digital Energy is also actively going global, aligning with international supply systems and accumulating a large number of world-renowned ecosystem partners. It is an ecosystem partner of around 60 globally renowned automakers, including Volkswagen, Porsche, and Mercedes-Benz.
Going forward, the three parties will build on their strategic partnership of combining strengths, complementary advantages, mutual benefit and win-win results, and integrated development, actively advancing China-foreign cooperation in green transportation to greater depth and tangible results, building a complete green and low-carbon transportation ecosystem, promoting the high-quality development of the global new energy vehicle industry, accelerating the achievement of the 'dual carbon' goals, and contributing to global energy conservation and emission reduction.
