There are always corners of the world that starlight cannot reach. Starlight Charity tries to let that light shine wider. Its existence may be only 'faint starlight,' but for children in the mountains it is extraordinarily meaningful — helping them enter a broader spiritual world and reach better places is the original intention of Starlight Charity...

312 sets of school stationery, 712 down jackets, and more than 800 extracurricular books... On November 2, a vehicle loaded with StarCharge's charity supplies departed from Changzhou, Jiangsu, heading for Nyalam County, Xigaze, Tibet, 5000 kilometers away.

Warmth in the Depths of Winter: Charity Supplies Arrive in Tibet
At present, the Minor Snow solar term has just passed, and a chill is gradually creeping into southern China, while some places entered winter long ago — Xigaze is one of them. 'Winter here is especially long, taking up nearly half the year. In deep winter, it snows often, and roads blocked by heavy snow happen from time to time.'

Surrounded by mountains and faced with hardship in economic development and education, for many children, even taking a hot shower in the cold winter has become a luxury.
'In temperatures of just a few degrees like this, it is commonplace here for parents to carry buckets of water to the playground to bathe their children.' Many children, from poor families and lacking warm winter clothes, have chilblains covering their hands all year round.
Upon learning of this situation, StarCharge immediately launched its 'Starlight Charity' program. Through internal employee donations and charity sales, combined with the 'Carbon Trace Charity' project on the StarCharge app and a call for new energy vehicle owners to join in, all the funds raised were converted into charity supplies — 312 sets of school stationery, 712 down jackets, and more than 800 extracurricular books — and delivered to Nyalam County Central Primary School and Suozuo Township Central Primary School in Nyalam County, Xigaze, Tibet, 5000 kilometers away, bringing warmth and care to 712 children deep in the mountains.

Passing on Warmth, Bringing Knowledge and Hope to Children
Fairy tale picture books, world classics, warm down jackets... On the playground, the children not only received new stationery and put on new clothes, but also gained new knowledge and broadened new horizons from a wealth of books. 'I love it — I'm just so happy!' A wave of warmth spread through the children's laughter.

'It's bright red and so pretty!' a little girl said excitedly as she showed everyone her down jacket, sharing her experience of wearing it: 'I love it. It's so warm — I won't be afraid of the cold going to school anymore!'
Other children, upon receiving new books, immediately turned into 'little bookworms,' excitedly flipping through the illustrations and immersing themselves in one fascinating chapter after another, their eyes full of focus and sparkling with a thirst for knowledge and hope for the future. 'This book is so interesting. When I get home, I'll share it with my younger brother and sister — they're sure to love it too.'
In addition, StarCharge selected 11 students in extreme financial difficulty from among the 712 students to provide them with dedicated financial aid.
'Thank you for your dedication. This winter, the children no longer have to fear the cold, and these supplies will also warm their hearts,' said Zhangdui, principal of Nyalam Central Primary School.

Starlight Charity: Gathering Love and Carrying Forward a Spirit of Great Compassion
'Children are hope. Their growth and education bear on the future development of the country and society.' StarCharge has always firmly believed that even deep in the mountains, there is still the possibility of becoming a dazzling star. 'That is why we established the Starlight Charity program. Through initiatives such as Books Over Mountains and Warm Winter, using books, stationery, and warm clothing as vehicles of charity, we hope to pave a road out of the mountains for these children, while gathering love and uniting strength to break the intergenerational transmission of poverty.'

In the future, StarCharge will take the 'Starlight Charity' program as a starting point, actively fulfill its corporate social responsibility, steadfastly practice the spirit of charity, and spread its charitable mission, providing timely and practical care and assistance to disadvantaged and vulnerable groups. At the same time, through the 'Carbon Trace Charity' project on the StarCharge app, it will pool the strength of tens of millions of new energy vehicle owners across China, guiding and encouraging more people to learn about and participate in charity, so that this selfless love can be passed on — like starlight, spreading across the land — as we build a better future together.
