StarCharge Wins Two Major Industry Awards: the 'Huachu Award' and the 'Jinchu Award'

21 Oct 2026

Recently, hosted by Energy Storage China Network, the 3rd Energy Storage Industry Annual Conferencewas held in Beijing. As an important annual gathering in China's new-type energy infrastructure field, this conference brought together experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives from energy storage technology, system integration, power applications, and industrial capital to jointly explore new paths for the high-quality development of the energy storage industry.

At this annual conference, StarChargewon high recognition across the industry for its comprehensive strength in energy storage system construction, technological innovation, and scenario-based applications, claiming the 'Huachu Award' and the 'Jinchu Award', two major honors.

The 'Huachu Award' and 'Jinchu Award' are important annual industry selections initiated by Energy Storage China Network, focusing on companies' overall performance in technological innovation capability, project delivery, business model exploration, and contribution to industry advancement, with the aim of setting benchmarks for the high-quality development of the energy storage industry. These awards reflect the industry's high recognition of StarCharge's sustained dedication to the energy storage field, as well as its active exploration and practical value in building the new energy infrastructure system.

As a global leading integrated energy services company, StarCharge has always followed the guidance of national energy strategy, devoting itself to frontier energy storage technology R&D and large-scale application. On the eve of the annual conference, the Phase II 500MW/2000MWh grid-side energy storage project in Naiman Banner, Tongliao, invested and constructed by StarCharge, was successfully put into operation. It is one of the largest grid-forming independent energy storage stations in operation in China, capable of an annual 'peak shaving and valley filling' regulation capacity of approximately 600 million kWh, equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 500,000 tonnes per year. It has effectively enhanced the eastern Inner Mongolia grid's capability to consume wind, solar, and other new energy sources, providing solid support for the green transformation of the region's energy structure.

In recent years, StarCharge has continued to promote the coordinated development of energy storage technology, charging networks, and energy management systems around the needs of new-type power system construction, continuously improving the safety, stability, and economics of its energy storage systems through multi-scenario deployment.

In commercial-and-industrial energy storage, grid-side applications, and integrated energy solutions, StarCharge actively explores the integration of energy storage with load management, power dispatch, and digital O&M capabilities, driving the upgrade of energy storage from 'standalone equipment' to 'system capability.'

The 3rd Energy Storage Industry Annual Conference is not only an important platform for showcasing industry achievements, but also a key node for promoting technical exchange and industrial synergy. StarCharge stated that it will continue to focus on the goals of energy structure transformation and new-type power system construction, deepen technology R&D and application innovation, and work with industry partners to promote the healthy, orderly, and sustainable development of the energy storage industry.

Against the backdrop of the "dual carbon" goals, energy storage is becoming a vital support for the new energy system. These honors will also motivate StarCharge to keep leveraging its strengths and inject more momentum into the high-quality development of China's energy storage industry.
