Auto Shanghai 2023, which officially opened on April 18, is one of the world's largest and most influential international Class-A auto shows, ranking 5th among the world's top 100 exhibitions.
As a globally renowned charging operator and integrated energy solution provider, StarCharge also brought multiple flagship products to the event, which opened to the public on April 22. Today, Little Star will take you on a 'cloud' tour of the exhibition — let's see what the highlights are~
01 Embracing a New Era of the Automotive Industry, Building a Global Mobile Energy Internet Together
As we understand, Auto Shanghai was founded in 1985 and is held every two years, and it was the first auto show in China to be certified by UFI (the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry). This year's Auto Shanghai, themed 'Embracing the New Era of the Automotive Industry,' showcased the innovative development achievements of the world's automotive industry, with 1,000 vehicle and parts companies from 20 countries and regions participating at a scale of 360,000 square meters. As the mainstream trend of the future global automotive industry, new energy vehicles undoubtedly became one of the biggest attractions of this show.

So, what is the new era of the automotive industry? Two years ago, at Auto Shanghai 2021, StarCharge gave its own answer — the Mobile Energy Internet. The term first originated in 2020, put forward by StarCharge, and is an era-defining concept: every new energy vehicle is a mobile energy storage device, just like a 'power bank.' When the era of new energy vehicles fully arrives, charging piles and V2X technology will make it possible to form a ubiquitous energy interconnection network that breaks through the limits of time and space, allowing energy to be freely produced, stored, transmitted, managed, traded, and consumed according to people's needs.

Today, as the global carbon reduction process keeps accelerating and new energy vehicles gradually reach scale, the StarCharge corporate vision says it best: 'charging piles connecting the world, bringing hearts together, and jointly building the Mobile Energy Internet' — perhaps this is the finest footnote to the development of the new era of the automotive industry.
02 PV-Storage-Charging-Discharging + Green Electricity Trading: The Carbon-Neutral City of the Future Is Here
So, two years on, how has the construction of the 'Mobile Energy Internet' proposed back then fared? Happily, StarCharge has kept its word.
Based on the 'cloud-pipe-terminal' model, that is, the highly efficient integration of platform + services + hardware, and its extensive nationwide charging network layout, StarCharge has built multiple integrated 'PV-storage-charging-discharging' demonstration stations across the country.

▲ This station is located at StarCharge headquarters in Changzhou, Jiangsu. Integrating PV, storage, charging, and discharging in one, it forms a complete PV-storage-charging-discharging intelligent microgrid system
Beyond transportation, the integrated 'PV-storage-charging-discharging' solution can also be flexibly applied to a variety of scenarios. Through StarCharge's green electricity trading services, it ultimately forms a clean energy consumption model of 'self-generation for self-use, with surplus power fed into the grid,' achieving 'zero-carbon' operation of homes, factories, buildings, public facilities, and other scenarios, and thus advancing the ambitious goal of building carbon-neutral cities.

03 Fully Self-Developed Key Software and Hardware Technologies, with Footprints at Home and Abroad
Of course, even the most efficient solutions need high-quality software and hardware equipment to provide strong support.
At this exhibition, the widely anticipated 480kW ultra-fast charging pile, eBox-215 commercial-and-industrial energy storage, the V2G smart energy charging pile, and the home charging pile series were all on display. Proudly, whether the AC/DC charging and discharging equipment and intelligent cloud platform, the PV inverters and energy routers, or the commercial-and-industrial and residential energy storage, the key software and hardware technologies are all fully self-developed by StarCharge.
It is worth mentioning that the 'Aurora' AC charging pile and the home energy storage system have each won the German iF Design Award, known as the 'Oscar of the design world.'
