Recently, the German iF Product Design Award — ranked alongside the Red Dot Award and the IDEA Award as one of the 'world's three major design awards' — announced its list of 2024 winners,and Wanbang Digital Energy's new 7kW portable AC charging pile was among them. This is the third time Wanbang Digital Energy has won this prestigious award, once again demonstrating its world-class standards and leading strength in product design and user experience.

In terms of appearance, this portable charging pile breaks away from the conventional design language of charging piles. Taking the triangle as its design inspiration and as the foundation of its product form, it conveys a sense of stability and sophistication visually, while also being more ergonomic and easier for owners to use in practice. The minimalist yet far-from-simple light strip design around the pile body, together with its distinctive lighting language, further enhances the product's overall sense of technology and recognizability. In addition, upholding the concept of sustainable development, the product uses spray-free materials, which enhance its texture while also protecting the environment.
Notably, the product adopts a modular design, consisting of a portable charging pile and a fixed bracket, with an integrated wall lamp added to the fixed bracket,so that when the charging pile is carried in the vehicle for use on the go, its fixed bracket can serve as a standalone lighting device. This not only gives an otherwise plain wall a design context of its own for the charging pile, but also further increases the product's practicality, catering to the usage needs of both fixed home installation and portable on-the-go energy replenishment.
According to reports, the iF Design Award was founded in 1954 and is organized by the Hannover Industrial Design Forum, Germany's oldest industrial design institution. Renowned for its 'independent, rigorous, and reliable' judging philosophy, it is an internationally recognized and highly prestigious award in the field of contemporary industrial design, and has long been known as the 'Oscar of the design world.'This award marks yet another international recognition of Wanbang Digital Energy's product design, following the 'Aurora' charging pile and the home energy storage system.
