'The World's No. 1 in Cumulative Charging Pile Sales Over a Decade' — StarCharge Leads the Way to Ultra-Fast Charging!

21 Oct 2026

On April 18, at the first global launch event of StarCharge's 'Zero-Cost Upgrade to the Ultra-Fast Charging Era' (Chongqing stop), StarCharge was awarded Frost & Sullivan's certification as 'the world's No. 1 in cumulative charging pile sales over the past decade.' This not only marks StarCharge's outstanding achievements and global leading position in the charging pile field over the past decade, but also demonstrates its determination and confidence in driving the high-quality development of EV charging infrastructure.

A Decade of StarCharge: Where Does Its Success Lie?

01 Innovative Models Laying the Foundation of Leadership

As the medium connecting 'electricity' and 'vehicles,' the charging pile is backed by a trillion-level Energy Internet encompassing PV, storage, distribution and sales, bidirectional charging, and multi-energy complementarity, as well as a trillion-level Industrial Internet spanning connected vehicles, smart transportation, smart parking, and even all aspects of daily life — bridging the intangible world of energy and the tangible world of industry.

StarCharge recognized this from the very day of its founding.

From innovative hardware equipment to innovative software platforms, and on to innovative operating models... through years of practical exploration, StarCharge ultimately formed the 'cloud-pipe-terminal' operating model — that is, 'software + services + hardware' integrated into one — becoming an 'all-around champion' covering the entire industry chain.

Behind its success lies the mutual reinforcement and support of technology, products, and operations — three elements of which none can be lacking.

'Countless stars fill the sky; for EV charging, choose StarCharge.' To date, the StarCharge platform has covered more than 350 cities and regions nationwide, with over 18 million registered users, serving more than 15,000 charging operators of all kinds and empowering more than 80,000 charging stations, making it one of the undisputed 'big three' charging operators.

02 Technology Leadership Driving the Transformation of the Industry

Over the years, StarCharge has consistently put technology first, continuously increasing its R&D investment to fortify its corporate 'moat.' From 30kW low-power DC charging piles ten years ago to today's 960kW super charging piles, StarCharge has not only effectively solved the 'charging difficulty' problem faced by new energy vehicle owners, but has also turned 'charging as fast as refueling' into reality.

Moreover, StarCharge has combined photovoltaic power generation, energy storage, V2G charging and discharging, and other technologies with charging piles to form a complete and mature overall microgrid solution. Together with green electricity trading and virtual power plants, it ultimately achieves 'self-generation for self-use, with surplus power fed into the grid,' opening up the 'last mile' of new energy consumption — with all of the core software and hardware technologies independently developed by StarCharge, ensuring security and control. Notably, this solution can be applied not only to charging stations, but also to homes, factories, industrial parks, buildings, and many other scenarios, enabling low-carbon or even 'zero-carbon' operation.

Today, from power generation to consumption, and on to demand response and power trading, StarCharge has formed a complete 'virtual power plant' development path that includes regulating grid power, participating in the power auxiliary services market, 'source-grid-load-storage' interaction, and agency power purchase and sales. This has also become the second growth curve for charging station profitability.

03 Continued Exploration: Defining the 'Ultra-Fast Charging Era'

As a 'pathfinder' in the ultra-fast charging field, StarCharge began pre-research on ultra-fast charging technology as early as 2017. Over seven years, StarCharge's ultra-fast charging technology has consistently led the way, setting the industry's pace of acceleration, and has given 'ultra-fast charging' its definition: true 'ultra-fast charging' must simultaneously meet three requirements — 'a high-power rectifier cabinet supporting the 800V platform, the dispatch capability to provide a power pool of no less than 480kW, and single-gun output current of no less than 500A.'

It is worth noting that StarCharge's entire ultra-fast charging product line currently supports the 1000V high-voltage platform, with a maximum power of up to 960kW, a rated current of 600A, and support for maximum current output of 800A, easily achieving the replenishment effect of '3 minutes of charging for 400 li (about 200 km) of range.'

While leading technology is certainly important, scientific and efficient smart operations matter just as much. Based on its proprietary DPA power pool technology, intelligent cloud platform, and leading energy dispatch and trading capabilities, StarCharge can also provide stations with full lifecycle services from investment and site selection to operations and O&M, and on to microgrid upgrades, further ensuring users' charging experience and stations' profitability.

According to reports, by the end of 2024, StarCharge is expected to have built more than 10,000 super charging stations with liquid-cooled terminals nationwide, truly leading the charging industry into the 'ultra-fast charging era.'

04 A Distinctly 'International' 'Circle of Friends' Taking Shape at Speed

It is precisely by virtue of its leading technological strength, comprehensive product matrix, and outstanding service innovation capabilities that, over the past decade, StarCharge has won customers across multiple categories including automakers, energy companies, real estate firms, operators, and governments, with new projects, new partnerships, and new orders pouring in from home and abroad.

Take automakers as an example: StarCharge is an ecosystem partner of more than 50 well-known domestic and foreign automakers, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Jaguar Land Rover, Li Auto, Dongfeng, and Volvo, and provides cloud-pipe-terminal integrated solutions for several OEMs in the construction of ultra-fast charging branded stations, continuing to lead the way in 'ultra-fast charging.'

A global 'circle of friends' built by StarCharge is taking shape at an accelerating pace!

Looking ahead, StarCharge will continue to be driven by technology and led by innovation, striving to maintain its leading position in the charging pile field while deepening its focus on ultra-fast charging, further promoting the high-quality development of EV charging infrastructure, and providing new energy vehicle owners with more convenient and efficient charging services. At the same time, it will actively expand into overseas markets, injecting new vitality into the development and promotion of new energy vehicles worldwide and contributing even greater strength to green mobility across the globe.
