— A StarCharge Microgrid at 4300 Meters Above Sea Level
01 Plateau Microgrid Unaffected by the Earthquake, Responding Stably to Power Outages
In Nailang Valley, Gurong Town, Duilongdeqing District, Lhasa, the plateau microgrid system built under StarCharge's leadership, covering the entire Nailang Monastery area, withstood the test of the recent 'Tibet 6.8-magnitude earthquake' and has remained in stable operation. The system had previously passed a test of more than 132 hours of uninterrupted off-grid operation, marking a new level of energy security in weak-grid plateau environments, and it is also capable of providing energy support to disaster areas.

As a representative case of an all-scenario microgrid solution, the project, taking into account the plateau's environmental characteristics — abundant sunshine, thin air and relatively poor grid stability — deployed hardware including a 500kW PV system, five ebox-232 energy storage cabinets, two 120KW DC charging piles, four 7KW AC charging piles, and energy management controllers. By connecting to the energy management cloud platform, integrated 'cloud-edge-terminal' management and coordination was achieved. Even in an extreme environment at 5000 meters above sea level, the energy storage system continues to operate safely, reliably and stably.
Since commissioning was completed last March, the microgrid system has successfully handled multiple power outages of varying duration, with the longest achieving 132 hours of independent off-grid operation. Even after the test of the earthquake, the system's stability and reliability have been fully verified, securing the region's basic energy supply. This technological breakthrough has not only let the radiance of green power spread across this plateau land with more than 700 years of history, but has further demonstrated the feasibility of developing zero-carbon scenarios tailored to local conditions in extreme high-altitude environments.
02 StarCharge Builds Out Its Microgrid Application Ecosystem, Helping Achieve the 'Dual Carbon' Goals
As an innovation pioneer in the energy sector, StarCharge created the 'StarCharge' brand as early as 2014, and after a decade of accumulation it has achieved the world's No. 1 cumulative charging pile sales. Today, through continuous exploration of integrated energy management application scenarios, StarCharge was the first to define the 'scenario-based microgrid'. Relying on its extensively deployed charging station network and its efficient 'cloud-edge-terminal' collaboration model, it has built a full industry chain system spanning new energy production, storage, management, consumption and trading, fully applied in scenarios such as plateaus, ports, industrial parks, rural areas and communities.
Going forward, StarCharge will continue to promote the application of microgrid technology in more scenarios, especially clean energy technology practices in extreme environments, continuously optimizing the energy consumption structure and improving energy efficiency, contributing even more to the achievement of the 'dual carbon' goals.

Disasters are merciless, but people have compassion — let us pray for the disaster-stricken areas. We will keep working hard to bring peace of mind to the local people through stable and reliable energy security.
