Calligraphers Write Spring Festival Couplets and Deliver Blessings for StarCharge Employees

On January 15, 2025, the StarCharge Labor Union Committee, together with Kensiyuan, held a distinctive 'New Year Blessings' event at the third-floor lounge of Phase I, the fourth-floor lounge of Phase II, and the second-floor café of the Guochuang building, aiming to carry forward traditional Chinese culture, create a strong festive atmosphere, and deliver New Year blessings to all employees.

Today, three calligraphers from the Changzhou Calligraphers Association were invited to the scene, each of them a master of exquisite skill and vigorous brushwork. Employees presented, one by one, the Spring Festival couplet texts they had carefully composed in advance, and the calligraphers created and wrote them on the spot with brush and ink. Whether concentrating intently on each stroke or gently turning the brush tip, they brought to paper couplet after couplet full of auspicious meaning and heartfelt blessings. Their flowing, graceful characters drew admiration from the employees present, many of whom stopped to watch and appreciate.

Beyond the calligraphers' wonderful creations, the event also drew many employees to try calligraphy themselves. Some picked up brushes and imitated the calligraphers' techniques, attempting to write simple 'Fu' (blessing) characters; others, guided by the calligraphers, took on the challenge of writing complete couplets. Employees immersed themselves in the activity, enjoying the pleasure that calligraphy brings, and the venue was filled with a joyful and harmonious atmosphere.

The event lasted several hours and was exceptionally popular. This 'New Year Blessings' activity was warmly welcomed and unanimously praised. Employees streamed continuously to the various lounges and cafés to collect the couplets they liked best, their faces beaming with happiness. Many remarked that such activities not only let everyone feel the strong flavor of the Spring Festival, but also enhanced communication and interaction among employees, enriched their cultural life outside work, and gave everyone a deep appreciation of the charm of traditional Chinese culture.
