The global energy landscape is undergoing profound transformation. As installed renewable energy capacity keeps expanding and the low-carbon transition of power systems accelerates, energy storage technology is increasingly becoming a core element supporting the stable operation of the new-type power system. As an innovation leader deeply rooted in the smart energy field for many years, StarCharge unveiled its brand-new 2.5MW/5MWh (hereinafter '5MWh') string-type energy storage container system at the 18th (2025) International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy (Shanghai) Conference and Exhibition (SNEC), providing customers with energy storage solutions featuring high integration, robust protection, long service life, and easy O&M.

01 New String-Type Energy Storage System Unveiled: Ultra-High Integration, Intelligently Leading the Future
Following the successful launch of its 5MWh centralized energy storage system, StarCharge is doubling down on the large-scale energy storage track, debuting the 5MWh string-type energy storage container at SNEC 2025 to precisely match market-oriented demand in China.

The system adopts an All-in-one high-integration design, integrating 12 self-developed 215kW PCS units and a self-developed battery system, reducing its footprint by 37.8%.
Its innovative 'one-cluster-one-management' architecture improves battery management granularity 12-fold, effectively resolving circulating-current problems among batteries and markedly reducing the 'barrel effect' during charging and discharging. Combined with its modular, prefabricated design, the system cuts on-site commissioning labor by 50%, boosts delivery efficiency, and effectively lowers customers' initial investment.
In terms of safety performance, the system is equipped with an intelligent liquid-cooled temperature control system that precisely keeps cell temperature differences within 2°C, achieving balanced degradation control. A quadruple fire-protection system and five-level electrical protection, combined with a fully enclosed DC wiring design, thoroughly eliminate the hazards of DC arcing and short circuits. The intelligent cell monitoring system supports 72-hour risk early warning, ensuring stable operation in extreme environments from -30°C to 55°C.
Notably, StarCharge's next-generation centralized large-scale energy storage system is expected to be officially launched by the end of 2025. The new generation of products will adopt more advanced cell technology and intelligent management systems. It is revealed that the product will further push the limits of energy density and system efficiency, bringing customers even more competitive energy storage solutions.
02 International Certifications Safeguard Quality and Power Global Expansion
StarCharge's 5MWh centralized energy storage products have successfully obtained international certifications including TÜV Rheinland EN 62477-1 and UL 9540, marking global authoritative recognition of their technical strength and safety standards. These certifications lay a solid foundation for the products' entry into high-threshold markets such as Europe and North America, and will help global customers meet the needs of diverse application scenarios.

Multiple parties join hands for win-win results, empowering the global energy storage ecosystem. To accelerate its globalization, StarCharge signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the European energy company Versolvio during the exhibition. The partnership will drive the large-scale application of StarCharge's energy storage systems in the European market, speed up the overseas deployment of its energy storage business, deepen industry-chain synergy, and jointly build an efficient, sustainable green energy ecosystem on the march toward a zero-carbon future.

Looking ahead, StarCharge will keep deepening innovation in energy storage technology, empowering the global energy transformation with more efficient, safer, and smarter solutions. Going forward, StarCharge will join hands with more partners to jointly promote the adoption and application of green energy, contributing 'StarCharge strength' to the building of a clean, low-carbon, and sustainable energy system.
