The 5th StarCharge 828 Low-Carbon Festival is here! This year's theme is 'Use green power, get closer to zero carbon.' Combining online and offline activities, the event features 6 high-energy livestreams, and the StarCharge APP has also prepared multiple surprises and benefits for all Star Friends. This article puts together a guide to grabbing freebies at the 828 Low-Carbon Festival.
01 Shake for a Chance to Win a Smartphone Grand Prize
The event runs from August 22 to the 28th. During the event, Star Friends who take part in 'Shake' on the StarCharge APP event page will have chances to win service-fee-free charging cards, discount coupons, brand coupons, and smartphone grand prizes. StarCharge APP members get 5 shake chances per day, while non-members get 2 per day. In addition, each person can gain 1 extra shake chance per day by sharing the event, and members' winning odds are doubled.
Note: users who sign up for membership on a given day will only get 5 daily shake chances starting the next day. Card and coupon prizes are credited immediately and can be used directly in charging orders; cards won via August 22-24 are valid only for August 22-25, and cards won via August 25-28 are valid only for August 26-28. For detailed usage rules, please refer to the instructions for each card or coupon;
Brand coupons and smartphone grand prizes must be redeemed on the day of winning; any prize not redeemed within the specified time will be deemed a forfeit of the eligibility to claim it.
02 Unlock Your Low-Carbon Report and Claim Charging Vouchers
During the event, users can tap the home page to enter the low-carbon report page and tap 'Unlock My Low-Carbon Report' to see every step StarCharge and Star Friends have taken along the path of 'low-carbon living' over the past year, light up their own low-carbon anniversary badge, and automatically receive a charging voucher in their personal account. Star Friends who have been registered for 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 years can respectively receive charging vouchers worth RMB 1, 1, 2, 2, and 3. The vouchers can be used at all directly-operated and jointly-operated stations nationwide and are valid for 7 days.
Note: vouchers can be claimed repeatedly; 5th-anniversary users can claim all the vouchers, up to 5 in total.
03 Charge Green Electricity and Share Your Order: Collect Likes to Earn Charging Vouchers
During the event, users who charge at green power stations can post on the Surprise page with a screenshot of their order to collect likes; collecting 10 likes earns a RMB 3 charging voucher valid for 7 days. Users will also gain one entry into a lucky draw for green power merchandise.
Please note that posts must include the user's city and a screenshot of the green electricity order, among other required content, so that prizes can be shipped later.
The annual 828 Low-Carbon Festival is not only a public-interest initiative but also market-oriented, fully taking users themselves into account — this was precisely StarCharge's original intention in founding the 828 Low-Carbon Festival. This year's event has already begun, so join in now!
