'Green and low-carbon, safe and efficient, innovation-led.' The 2nd EV Charging Infrastructure Technology Innovation Conference, hosted by the Electric Transportation and Energy Storage Branch of the China Electricity Council (CEC) and the Energy Industry Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Standardization Committee and organized by StarCharge, will be held in Changzhou from August 4 to August 5.
Since its inception, the conference has consistently championed an engineering culture. With an authoritative, comprehensive, pure, and professional spirit, it focuses deeply on technical pain points in the charging infrastructure field, conducts pre-research on the technological frontiers of charging, and jointly explores and leads innovative development in the industry.
During the conference, more than 30 top industry experts, heads of corporate R&D, and engineers from the CEC, State Grid, Sinopec, and other leading organizations will discuss key technical areas such as EV charging infrastructure technology and industry development, next-generation conductive charging technology and standardization, the integration of electric vehicles with the smart grid, improving the quality and efficiency of charging services, and enhancing charging safety.
The conference will also hold sub-forum discussions on charging standard revisions, low-power DC, high-power liquid cooling, key technologies for battery swapping and energy storage applications (PV-storage-charging, mobile charging, battery-swap energy storage), green electricity trading, and safe O&M solutions, and will feature exchanges on key scenarios and hot topics such as heavy-duty truck battery swapping, integrated energy stations, residential charging, and rural charging.
'Over these years, China's charging infrastructure development has made great strides, and an even bigger and better market awaits in the future, which makes it all the more necessary to build a solid foundation. Especially at this moment, the industry should unleash greater innovative vitality to jointly embrace green energy development and the low-carbon transition.' said Liu Yongdong, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Electricity Council, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Electric Vehicles and Energy Storage Branch, and Secretary-General of the Energy Industry Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Standardization Technical Committee. He stated that holding this conference was precisely based on the latest market conditions and needs, and that, guided by the development directions of electric vehicles, smart cities, and smart grids, it would carry out pre-research on standards, get the top-level design right, and build a new, highly efficient charging infrastructure standards system, thereby driving technological progress, regulating the charging infrastructure market, and improving the user experience.
The latest data show that as of the end of June this year, the number of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in use had surpassed 10 million units, reaching a new milestone, with charging infrastructure and NEVs continuing to grow explosively. How to prevent charging infrastructure from holding back the promotion of electric vehicles, effectively solve users' charging difficulties, improve the charging experience, advance the nation's shift toward low-carbon and green travel, and better serve the 'dual carbon' strategic goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality should now become the 'consensus' of the industry.
'This is a pure exchange of innovative technologies. Through this conference, we hope to bring together mainstream domestic energy companies, OEMs, peers, industry associations, and professional associations for joint co-creation, focusing on the current state of development and technical pain points in the charging infrastructure field and exploring more possibilities."A leader of the organizer, StarCharge, said that the participants this time are mainly industry experts and engineers, and that the conference content covers multiple fields including product iteration, technological innovation, standard development, and green electricity spot and energy trading, in order to promote and lead technological breakthroughs in the industry, break through development bottlenecks, and achieve green, low-carbon development.
Industry heavyweights will gather to focus on the frontier — you are invited to join this technological feast and jointly pursue green development.
August 4-August 5, stay tuned! (Those unable to attend in person can also watch via the livestream~)
