StarCharge Representatives Visit Mr. Siddharth Chatterjee, UN Resident Coordinator in China

September 23, 2025, Mr. Siddharth Chatterjee, UN Resident Coordinator in China, met with Kong Yankang, General Manager of the Strategic Marketing Center of Wanbang Digital Energy Co., Ltd. (StarCharge), in Beijing. The two had in-depth exchanges on StarCharge's progress in ESG (environmental, social, and corporate governance), and Mr. Chatterjee presented Kong Yankang with the Sustainable Development Goals pin in recognition of the company's active practices in sustainable development. This interaction further consolidated the foundation of the two sides' energy cooperation under the theme of the UN's 80th anniversary, 'Building a Better Future', centered on 'building sustainable energy and lighting up a zero-carbon future'.

During the meeting, General Manager Kong Yankang introduced StarCharge's ESG strategy and achievements to Mr. Chatterjee. On the environmental (E) front, the company is committed to decarbonizing the full life cycle of charging infrastructure, supporting green transformation by improving energy efficiency and coordinating with renewable energy; on the social (S) front, it is actively expanding network coverage, focusing on solving the 'charging difficulty' problem in remote areas, and attaching importance to employee rights and talent development; on the governance (G) front, it has built a governance structure of compliance and innovation, established specialized management mechanisms, and regularly discloses sustainable development reports.

Mr. Chatterjee said that the United Nations has always advocated multi-party collaboration in advancing sustainable development, and he looks forward to exploring further deepened cooperation with StarCharge to better align corporate practice with the global sustainable development agenda and create a greater demonstration effect.
