Norway’s Postal Service, Posten, is taking major steps towards sustainable operations by integrating StarCharge’s Nova and Aries into its EV charging infrastructure. In alignment with the national objective of achieving 100% renewable energy by 2025, Posten is at the forefront of adopting green solutions.
In 2021, Posten made a commitment to halt orders for fossil fuel vehicles, marking the beginning of a transition to electric fleet. The company currently operates one of Norway’s largest EV fleets, comprising 897 electric vans and trucks. Furthermore, Posten has extended its zero-emissions delivery service to 49 Norwegian towns and cities, ensuring the sustainable delivery of letters and packages.
