September Update — NEVI Is Moving Again. Build with BABA-Ready Star Charge.

Overview (Narrative)

The pause is over—and momentum is back. With FHWA’s Interim Final Guidance (IFG) now in effect, states have updated their NEVI plans and approvals are flowing again (FHWA IFG PDF: https://www.fhwa.dot.gov/environment/nevi/resources/NEVI-Interim-Final-Program-Guidance-8-11-2025.pdf). Corridors are reopening, timelines are reappearing, and funded projects are moving from “wait” to go. Success in this new phase comes down to two things: (1) showing clean alignment to the refreshed IFG language, and (2) proving BABAcompliance with documentation that audit teams can trust. That’s exactly where Star Charge makes your bid stronger and your deployment faster.

California (CA)

Oregon (OR)

Ohio (OH)

Note: Additional states are active; we highlight those with the clearest September signals and near-term pathways to obligation and build-out.

Why this matters for funded developers & site hosts

  • Speed back to green-light: Approvals and obligations are ramping; IFG-accurate submittals shorten review cycles.
  • BABA is a proof game: Auditable domestic-content evidence is now the difference between “promising” and “procure.”
  • Execution risk is real: Utility capacity, energization staging, and permit readiness separate on-time go-lives from delays.

Star Charge | BABA-Ready Delivery (What we bring)

  • BABA-ready DC fast charging portfolio: scale with Titan 320 or modular Nova 360/720 cabinets paired with Aries V2 dispensers—architectures built for corridor throughput and compact parcels alike.
  • Engineering to energization: utility load letters, transformer lead-time planning, and staged energization contingencies—paired with permit-ready drawing sets to compress critical path.
  • Operations that pass audits: remote diagnostics, proactive spares, and SLAs aligned to NEVI expectations; clear price disclosure and reporting artifacts for compliance checks.
