On July 18, 2018, an expert in automotive power systems, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a professor at Tsinghua University, and a doctoral tutor - Ouyang Minggao visited the stars to sign a strategic cooperation agreement on the new energy industry cooperation. The star charging represents Jiangsu Province. The Energy Automotive Energy and Information Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as the Provincial Innovation Center) and Tsinghua University will conduct in-depth cooperation in technology development, give full play to their respective production and research advantages, and work together to build a national-level innovation center to promote energy interconnection in the new energy industry.

Founded in June 2017, Jiangsu New Energy Automotive Energy and Information Innovation Center is the only provincial-level innovation center in Jiangsu Province's new energy field. The center is in Jiangsu Province New Energy Vehicle Promotion and Application Leading Group and Jiangsu Provincial Economic and Information Technology Committee. Under the guidance, Wanbang New Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd. (Star Charging) led the establishment of 11 founding shareholders including Kaiwo Auto, Phoenix, Jiangsu Greentown and Nanjing Nengrui. The addition of the Automotive Research Institute of Tsinghua University will help the center to make strides towards the national innovation center.

This cooperation embodies the superior resources of the two sides in production, research and research, covering the key technologies of the energy interconnection of the vehicle pile network. Star Charging will participate in the development of the Tsinghua University Automotive Research Institute optical storage micro-network demonstration system, jointly research high-power charge and discharge technology, distributed new energy, energy storage, flexible load coordinated control strategy, energy optimization scheduling technology, micro-network control protection Technology, multi-energy complementary technology, charging preheating control technology, battery ladder utilization and other technologies to build a joint experimental platform. The project is expected to be completed in December 2019, which will lead the development of the core technology of the national new energy industry.
